5DAYS x Jira: a sync that finally goes both ways

In many teams, knowledge and technical tracking live in two separate worlds. What the integration does

• A task created in 5DAYS — manually, or automatically from a meeting thanks to automatic task detection — shows up in the matching Jira project.
• A task updated in Jira (status, assignee, comment) is reflected in 5DAYS, with no manual step.
• Every task keeps its link to where it came from: the meeting, decision or document it originated in, visible from 5DAYS and from Jira alike.

You no longer have to choose between “where we decide” and “where we track development”: the two stay aligned at all times.

Why two-way sync, and not just an export

Many integrations only push tasks one way, from the project-management tool to the development tool. That’s useful, but incomplete: as soon as a developer changes a status or adds a comment in Jira, that information stays invisible to the product team or the client, who keep looking at 5DAYS.

With a sync that runs both ways, the technical team keeps its usual tool — Jira — without changing a thing, while the product team, project managers and clients without Jira access follow real progress directly in 5DAYS, with the full context: the meeting that started the task, the related documents, the linked decisions.
